The Master of Science in Engineering (Building Services Engineering) [MSc(Eng)(BSE)] curriculum provides advanced education in the fields of design, management and operation of modern building-services systems to practising engineers or related professionals who want to acquire new knowledge and keep abreast of technical developments in the building-services industry. The curriculum embraces a wide spectrum of subjects ranging from services-system design, project management, operation and maintenance, energy performance, building intelligence and sustainability issues.
Students are required to complete 48 credits plus a dissertation (equivalent to 24 credits) to graduate.
Mode of Attendance
Full Time (minimum one year, maximum two years, with classes mainly on weekday evenings and Saturdays)
Part Time (minimum two years, maximum three years, with classes mainly on weekday evenings and Saturdays)

Programme Entrance Requirements
- Comply with the General Regulations; and
- Hold a Bachelor's degree of this University in a relevant engineering discipline; or a qualification of equivalent standard from this University or another comparable institution accepted for this purpose.
