The Aesthetic of Chinese Calligraphy
The Intangible Heritage of Chinese calligraphy is world-renowned for its gestural movement and painterly touch. Follow our lecturer of the School of Chinese, Mr. Hayson S. H. Liu to learn this aesthetically pleasing writing art and culture. You can also bring a set of writing essentials home!
About Mr. Hayson S. H. Liu
Mr. Hayson Liu is the Lecturer of the School of Chinese and the Chief Supervisor of Experiential Learning and Exchange Programmes of HKU. Apart from teaching various Chinese language courses, he has developed diverse cultural workshops on themes such as Chinese calligraphy and Chinese aesthetics appreciation.
Tai Chi: Balancing Yin & Yang
Want to unwind and enhance your well-being? Let’s practice Tai Chi – traditional martial arts to keep the balance of Yin and Yang within your body with Ms. Wendy Yu, coach and judge of Hong Kong Chinese Marital Arts Dragon and Lion Dance Association.
