Course Objectives :
- Become more fluent and comfortable in spoken English.
- Build self-confidence in public speaking.
- Improve your communication skills in a fun and engaging manner.
Course Structure :
This course aims to improve students’ communication skills in a fun and engaging manner. It is based on the Trinity Guildhall syllabus and students can opt to take the Communications Skills Examinations in the future. Students will learn to become more fluent and comfortable with their spoken English through drama based activities and will work towards giving a final speech or presentation individually. Creativity is encouraged and the students can approach their goal in whatever way makes them comfortable. This is a highly interactive and stimulating course taught by an experienced native English speaking Eduarts instructor with a degree in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education, and is devised by renowned drama educator and Hong Kong University Artist, Dr. Vicki Ooi. The programme is conducted in English.
