Class Time:         10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Course Objectives :

  • This workshop aims to bring to students the kind of imagination and passion for Creative Writing that can be sparked in young writers to carry forward into new courses and confidence.

Course Structure :

This session features the beauty and reach of creative writing for each member of the class. Joining together to learn about the craft and history of Creative Writing in English, each writer will design an individual story or memoir or poem. After practicing closely with a Writer in these Workshops, students will discover more range and reach of self-expression. They will also find new strength and mastery in their writing more widely.

Course materials will be provided. The class size will be limited to ensure individual attention is given to each student and encourage maximum interaction and creativity. Suitable for all levels.

This course is co-hosted by HKU’s groundbreaking Moving Poetry programme.
