We are inviting students from the University of Hong Kong to complete an online questionnaire about how their secondary school education has prepared them for higher education and their experiences at university. Specifically, the questionnaire will ask questions about:
- student details
- self-ratings of skills and competences
- participation in extra-curricular activities
- reflections on your secondary school education, and
- background questions
As part of a joint project of the University of Canberra and the University of Hong Kong, this survey aims to help to understand whether, in our admission arrangements, we are choosing the best students for university studies. It will also help us to structure our university programmes to best fit the characteristics of the incoming student. You have been selected to help us.
The online questionnaire will take only 15 minutes to complete.
As a thank you for participation, we are offering a HK$300 Starbucks voucher to 20 winners of a lucky draw, and another HK$200 Starbucks voucher to those volunteering to be further interviewed. You may rest assured that anonymised data will remain completely confidential; neither your individual data nor your email address itself will be released to anyone outside the research team.
The closing date of this online questionnaire is 13 March, 2017.
